Top 5 motivational books

I love a good book! Especially in the Fall when all I want is a cozy space and hot cider. I’m usually reading anything Dan-Brown-esque but it doesn’t hurt to find a great read that helps you better yourself and makes a lasting impression. I’ve read a lot of self-help books but there are a couple of them that I keep coming back to so I’m writing this list to help narrow the list down to what I think are the best ones.

1) How to win friends and influence people

This book is absolutely amazing. Dale Carnegie is the absolute king of observations because he speaks about things that may seem obvious to you after you start applying his tips but you otherwise would have not known.

2) #GIRLBOSS

Sophia Amoruso is the founder of Nasty Gal and an absolute Girlboss. I’m sure, by now, everyone has heard of this book or watched the series on Netflix but I will still write about it because it is very relevant for any girl trying to pursue big dreams!

3) You are a badass

I first found this book on Audible and I could not get enough. (Check out my favorite books on Audible here.) Jen Sincero narrated this book and gave super relatable advice that anyone could use. I go back to it now and then when I feel like I’m in a rut and it works like a charm, folks. So I highly recommend you check this out.

4) The Richest Man in Babylon

I don’t remember exactly how I found this book but I had it on my kindle and was set on going blind before I put it down. The story took sometime to get into but once you do, you just can’t put it down. It gives great financial advice that’s basically guaranteed to work. I’m not a financial expert by any means but if this book can help a college student, it sure as heck won’t hurt anyone else.

5) The Alchemist

We’re capping this list of with one of the most popular recommended books ever. My description would not do it any justice so I’ll leave the cliffnotes for it right here. You HAVE TO read this!

Hope you guys found this helpful. As always, if you have any recommendations, comment down below.
